We are currently seeking an up-start IT Project Manager, (IT Governance Engineer, PM) who is capable of working in a dynamic environment and able to continuously innovate and work on solutions that make a real word difference to our clients. You will be working alongside our highly skilled technology team and professional services vendors to ensure that our projects remain on-schedule and on-budget. You will work alongside our senior IT team ensuring the smooth operation and expansion of our global technology estate. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and highly organized. This position will be responsible for regular reporting to our Associate Director of the Project Management Office. The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, has great attention to detail, takes initiative, and understands how their tasks align with business needs and prioritize accordingly.
Duties
· Provide support to address the full scope of IT project management activities for all technology projects
· Create and maintain schedules and track deliverables of multiple IT service delivery projects
· Includes developing and maintaining Initial Business Proposals, Charters, Project Management Plans, Lessons-Learned after conclusion of the project, and Closeout for all assigned projects.
· Continuously evaluate opportunities for improved project efficiencies and order of operations changes that could yield benefits.
· Co-ordinate multiple vendors and stakeholders to maintain schedule and situational awareness for assigned IT projects
· Elicit and document internal customer requirements and track the project to completion
· Track budgets and asset utilization and allocation
· All tasks assigned by the Project Management Office (PMO)
Qualifications
· Strong affinity with technology
· 2 years of experience or appropriate bachelor’s degree in relevant field
· Ability to work in a team with strong communication skills
· Top flight organizational skills are a must
· Basic understanding of corporate procurement procedures
· Ability to adapt to new environments and learn from context without direct instruction
· Self-starter attitude, combined with the ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking with minimal supervision
