We are seeking a strong Project Manager to support our global Brand Marketing, Customer Experience and Mobile App Development teams. You will lead and manage client engagements and be responsible for overall client satisfaction, quality of service/delivery, and on-time, on-budget completion of projects. The ideal candidate is a digitally-savvy, strategic leader who can effectively manage a project on both client and internal sides of the fence. You must have an eye for fantastic creative work and be able to identify and sell through innovative ideas to the client.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving project delivery and development of relationships that positions DMI for continued growth on accounts by motivating and engaging teams to produce the best possible results
  • Managing the full lifecycle of customer experience, branding and marketing engagements from discovery to concept through the full production and launch/post-launch production
  • Oversee client relationship(s) with responsibility for resource planning, client satisfaction, prioritization of all deliverables and ensuring the quality of work meets agency standards and client objectives/brand guidelines
  • Develop project plans and work with a global team and discipline leads to execute it, involving people at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization (goals, deliverables, schedule, budget, resources)
  • Ability to foresee and identify risks, remove blockers and understanding of proper escalation among project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Provide constructive and purposeful critique of work before it goes to client as well as reviewing work for quality control and communicating to teams accordingly to help correct/manage account P&L by making sure work is delivered on budget while tracking all 3rd party costs and supporting client invoicing according to the contract terms
  • Identifying scope creep (internal + external) to manage delivery and escalate as needed to account team for support
  • Proactively monitor project progress against key milestones and maintain status reports.
  • Must have excellent presentation, verbal and written skills to interface with internal/external teams
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, think quickly under pressure, and contribute new ideas
  • Take initiative to identify opportunities to elevate the work with the team and help introduce innovative solutions or approaches
  • Facilitate project retrospectives
  • Assist the Account Management/Sales team with the creation of new proposals, estimations and new business meetings

Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree preferably in related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of proven working experience in successful client engagements, preferably managing high-volume campaign production across multiple clients and verticals simultaneously (inclusive of brand strategy, brand identity, collateral, digital/traditional media planning & creative production, video, OOH, social media, and ad trafficking)
  • Understanding of project management principles and creating successful teams
  • Experience with management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Develop relationships with clients through gaining trust and successful delivery
  • Manage interdisciplinary teams of 5-10 people
  • Strong interest in managing more website/app dev projects
  • Experience with higher education, automotive, medical, associations categories helpful, but not necessary

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with other projects types, including UX/UI for web/app, website development, mobile app development, QA is a plus
  • Experience with global delivery teams and understanding of onshore, offshore and hybrid team models
  • CSM, PMP or similar certifications
  • Willingness to travel
