Position Overview:
The IT Project Manager – Infrastructure Services is responsible for both leading key initiatives and establishing project management disciplines across the organization. The position will lead the overall planning, prioritization, budgeting and reporting on a portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Works directly with IT leadership on the portfolio prioritization, planning, budgeting and reporting of projects that are cross functional and/or highly complex in nature.
  • Leads the planning, milestone setting, and determining interdependencies of projects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Develops strategies and approaches for multiple, large, complex programs using the proven project management framework as well as other industry standard resources.
  • Develops communication strategies to ensure stakeholders have up-to-date and actionable information that includes: project health, budget and cost tracking, and resource allocations.
  • Planning for and overseeing consistent project management methodologies are applied across the IT Infrastucture organization
  • Monitors the delivery of business objectives, client experience, and effectiveness of project management disciplines.
  • Seeks innovative solutions to solve problems and realize goals.

Basic Qualifications
  • College or University degree
  • 5 years of project management experience within IT Infrastructure Services
  • Experience with project management tools and technique
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience presenting ideas in a business-friendly manner to all levels of the oragnization
  • Proven experience with business analysis concepts: including requirements planning, management elicitation, communications, documentation and solution validation
  • Proven experience developing relationship in a matrix organization at all levels from senior leadership and business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Previous IT Management experience and budget control experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and related software programs is essential
  • Ability to think analytically, solve problems, make decisions, and collaborate and work with a team
  • Experienced in leading a team in developing business and test case documents along with a cost/benefit analysis
  • Strong customer orientation and commitment to quality
  • Ability to juggle competing demands and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Proven written and verbal communications skills
