BASIC FUNCTIONS:

  • Upon receiving an order have a “hand off” meeting with outside sales to understand the specifics of the project, get a point of contact and take over
  • Point of Contact on projects for all internal and external customers
  • Ensure all plants/vendors have full understanding of the specifications they are working under. Document their acceptance of these specifications
  • Ensure File is complete with a Job Info Sheet and Bond where required
  • Planning of orders to optimize logistics, sourcing and value added services. Work with Supply Chain to make sure that we are utilizing the material that best helps the company. Evaluate the best method of shipment, see if order can be broken up in a way to capture freight savings.
  • Coordinate Sequencing and Deliveries of material from the source of the bare steel, through any value added services, to the job site
  • Handle changes from the customer and the internal/external communication required execute and document said changes
  • Ensure congruence (matching) of Quote/PO/Acknowledgement/Invoice
  • Ensure proper taxation and tax documentation
  • Develop and Expand our network of vendors
  • Travel to Coaters/Fabricators during production to ensure things are on track
  • Travel to Job Sites as required to ensure a successful project for both the customer and Skyline
  • Attend preconstruction kick off meetings
  • Keep detailed, organized tracking on the status of projects and where they are vs. completion

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management Preferred
  • Professional presentation skills: excellent verbal communications abilities, strong confidence in speaking to audiences.
  • Proficient in MS Office, excellent computer skills.
  • 10% travel required.
