Infor Project Manager – Senior

Velocity Technology Solutions is expanding and is adding an Infor Project Manager – Senior to join our dynamic and highly successful team. We are currently interviewing for an experienced Infor Senior Project Manager for our global team. Velocity offers Cloud services across public, private and hybrid cloud environments and is an Advanced AWS partner.


Objective:

Velocity is seeking an ERP Project Manager who has extensive experience in managing implementations and upgrades across multiple domains in an ERP environment, including integration with legacy and 3rd party systems. We currently have multiple opportunities for Lawson S3 and M3 Project Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specified scope on time, on budget and meeting or exceeding our high quality standards
  • Develop and maintain project plans and budgets; monitor labor and expenses and manage invoices
  • Ensure all deliverables meet defined requirements
  • Ensure client satisfaction targets are achieved and expectations are appropriately managed
  • Implement required controls and propose improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans and change control plans, for all aspects of the assignment
  • Ensure business and assignment risks are identified, monitored and managed to achieve minimal disruption to the project delivery and success. Escalate status and issues as needed for prompt resolution and minimal disruption to the engagement.
  • Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully
  • Provide regular communications to client management, including the development and delivery of executive level presentations
  • Adhere to and promote Project Management methodology for deliverables
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, at all levels of the organization
  • Coach and mentor others in the Project Management Community
  • Participate in Velocity’s Delivery Oversight Processes as required
  • Contribute to Velocity Knowledge management activities

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree
  • 10+ years experience in a project management role
  • Candidates must be possess in-depth business process knowledge in one of the following industries: Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Government, and or Telecommunications
  • Proven project management of large, complex projects or a portfolio of smaller projects including resource management, business requirements, and all project deliverables.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in various areas of leadership such as executive level interaction, program and project management, change management, and supervisory and team leader roles.
  • Well versed in various systems implementation methodologies and PMBOK.
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with all departments within an organization, including senior management
  • Ability to listen, understand, and accurately interpret customer requirements in order to make appropriate recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision to recognize and accomplish the necessary activities
  • Ability to manage objectives and delegate responsibilities; ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
  • Experience in assessing the business needs of an organization and in developing necessary project plans and timelines
  • Ability to lead cross functional team
  • Ability to apply fundamental principles in a wide and unpredictable range of contexts
  • Proficient in MS Office, including experience with Microsoft Project
  • Ability to travel 80-100% (Monday – Friday), based on assignment
  • You must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation.
