Job Description:
HVAC Project Manager will be responsible for Designing, Programming, and Installation of HVAC systems for Benson Systems of Northern California. This person will also be responsible for training and assisting the sales team in promoting total building management systems. These activities will be done with a constant focus on outstanding customer service.
*Duties And Responsibilities

- Directly responsible for the design and function of HVAC digital control systems
- Responsible for the integration and installation of all energy management
- Solidify and further develop relationships and additional systems for existing Accounts
- Provide paramount levels of customer service while working within budget
- Establish a training program for Benson System’s customers in the use and operation of systems
- Train new employee’s in the installation and programming of systems
- Takes the lead to assist clients in overcoming obstacles or issues by proactively attacking customer issues before they escalate into problems
- Consistently positions Benson Systems in a professional and customer-centric light
*Job Qualifications
*
- 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent of education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 5+ years of installation and service of HVAC systems
- Strong computer skills, system programming, in addition to knowledge of applications such as MS Outlook (Email and Scheduling) Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and expectations of the customer
- Demonstrated skills in customer relationship development and management
- High level of verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with strong personnel management skills
- Must be able to work independently AND in a team environment

Currently, our Service and Installation Operations Division based at our corporate HQ in San Diego, CA is looking for talented individuals with experience and knowledge to help strengthen and manage all of the included divisions we will be offering from our newest and growing branch in San Jose. Benson Systems provides Fire and Life Safety, Low Voltage, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and Electronic Restoration. The Benson Systems team is an established and reputable division in the Southwest that focuses on providing our customers with the best possible vital facility services.
Successful candidates shall develop service strategies and programs that allow Benson Systems to maximize market opportunities and operating profits. They will provide leadership and guidance to service and installation personnel, and ensure that they are equipped and trained to efficiently provide exceptional services to Benson Systems customers.
