As Head of the Security Engineering department, your role is to lead a team of high performing security engineers with a focus on integrating security with DevOps practices across our portfolio of applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve on the Engineering Leadership Team to define + ensure common process, standards and tools around security engineering are established and followed by their teams
- Drive for high degrees of security automation and help build a “Security as Code” culture.
- Participate in personnel management practices regarding recruitment and selection, adequate staffing, performance appraisals, education and training, and management development.
- Ensure an engaged, innovative, and encouraging working environment in the department by motivating, challenging, and mentoring employees towards growth.

Minimum requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Informatics or similar, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years minimum of hands-on software development, systems administration, DevOps/reliability engineering, or security engineering experience with 3 years minimum in a managerial role and 3 years minimum with cloud and SaaS (Software as a Service) based solutions
- Prior experience as a software engineer or security engineer as well as leading technical teams and successful practical experience with Agile and Lean methodologies and expert knowledge of DevSecOps + Cloud technologies as well as successful experience implementing security automation tools
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and influencing skills and demonstrated track record of exceptional teamwork along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of German or French a plus
- Ability to travel 25%
