RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operational functions for the practice
- Manage bookkeeping tasks such as posting charges and payments, preparing daily deposits, credit card receipts, and performing petty cash reconciliations, collecting outstanding balances
- Administer insurance claims and receivables
- Assist with recruiting for new team members, conduct reference checks, handle new employee onboarding, manage employee files, etc.
- Handle new patient phone calls and prepare the master schedule
- Prepare and present treatment plans and financial arrangement options to patients
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 5 years previous experience in a dental practice
- College degree preferred
- Previous experience using a dental software like Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus
- Strong financial or bookkeeping skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have a positive, âcan doâ attitude, be receptive to change, and be pleasant to work with
Pay is $30-35 per hour, depending on previous dental office management experience. Dental benefits are provided as well as PTO. There is a $150 per month stipend toward the cost of your personal health insurance.
