Job Type: Full (35 Hours/week)(Mon-Fri 3-10pm)

Pay scale: $16-$18 hourly

Norfolk Yacht and Country Club is seeking full-time fitness facility Manager with outgoing, fun and motivating personality, who exhibits a professional and polite appearance and demeanor while taking pride in his/her work and the facility.

Nature & Scope:

• Performs daily maintenance/cleaning of all facility equipment.
• Oversee cleanliness of all areas per schedule set forth by Director.
• Conducts regularly scheduled inventory of consumable supplies and equipment as needed or requested by Director.
• Assists with fitness facility and pool maintenance and operation.
• Maintains inventory on all cleaning supplies and towels needed.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a community, corporate, commercial, or private facility maintenance/custodial duties.
• Ability to work independently some after hours of operation.
• Knowledge and experience with fitness equipment a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals preferred.
• Must be able to lift 35lbs., be reliable, punctual and efficient.
• Must be available for evening work Mon-Fri including some holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour

Experience:

• Facilities Maintenance/Cleaning: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
