The Finance manager will manage all day-to-day duties of the financial staff. This includes providing guidance, double-checking payrolls and invoices, entering and approving journal entries, completing reconciliations and performing month end close.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Month-end close
  • GL Entries
  • Audits
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Financial Reporting
  • Day-to-day support of financial staff
  • Backup to payroll functions
  • Backup to invoicing

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience performing full life-cycle accounting (AP, AR, Payroll, bank reconciliation, month end close)
  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
  • Must show a strong ability and desire to learn

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in government contracting accounting
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • full life-cycle accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
