Field Manager/PM – Finishing and Trimming Division
Summary
This position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and budget.
Essential functions
Studies blueprints, sketches or building plans for information pertaining to material required.
Establish good relationships with owners, architects, job superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers.
Review and understand project plans and specifications
Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects to meet contract requirements
Responsible for scheduling and attending both pre-construction meetings and progress meetings
Establish and manage expense budgets
Manage procurement and selection of subcontractors
Establish and actively manage schedules to meet customer requirements and deadlines
Manage all aspects of contract administration including writing change requests, invoices and progress reports
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has overall responsibility for 25+ trimming/finishing employees and subcontractors assigned to their projects, including performance management, compliance with safety policies and procedures and Human Resource policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High School diploma required
Trade school or college degree in Construction or Project Management preferred
Five years construction foreman experience compatible with project manager division in finishing
Environment
Job is performed at various sites and at the office.
