Clearance: Ability to Obtain DHS Suitability Clearance
Role
- Manage program to develop policy and doctrine for FEMAâs Office of Response & Recovery
- Leading and directing the work of others and assumes primary responsibility for ensuring completion of all project deliverables on time and with the highest quality
- Developing and maintaining project artifacts, including the Project Management Plan, schedule, status reports, meeting minutes and other project-related documents
- Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues
- Leading implementation of strategies, initiatives, and projects to support disaster-related program enhancements
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Organizational or Technical Management, Engineering, or related field
- 10 years experience in doctrine and policy development and oversight for federal programs
- Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Proven and recent experience as a PM for a major federal agency or company
- Desired: Project Manager Professional Certification or related
- Desired: Prior experience within disaster management
