Role

  • Manage program to develop policy and doctrine for FEMA’s Office of Response & Recovery
  • Leading and directing the work of others and assumes primary responsibility for ensuring completion of all project deliverables on time and with the highest quality
  • Developing and maintaining project artifacts, including the Project Management Plan, schedule, status reports, meeting minutes and other project-related documents
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Leading implementation of strategies, initiatives, and projects to support disaster-related program enhancements

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational or Technical Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 10 years experience in doctrine and policy development and oversight for federal programs
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Proven and recent experience as a PM for a major federal agency or company
  • Desired: Project Manager Professional Certification or related
  • Desired: Prior experience within disaster management

Salary: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 /year
