FACILITIES MANAGER – Revised Minimum Qualifications & Salary
This position provides managerial, financial,
operational and technical expertise and leadership
to manage the state-of-the-art Buckman Direct Diversion facilities co-owned by
the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County; and, is responsible for the
production of drinking water that is compliant with applicable local, state and
federal regulations, meets the demands of its owners, and optimizes facility
operations.
Works under the administrative direction of the Water Division
Director and operates within the governance of the BDD Board. Manages the BDD
staff in a 24/7/365 environment.
Salary Range: $102,000 – $114,962.75 (The City offers generous benefits and a defined retirement package.)
Moving allowance may be available.
Education and Experience
Bachelorâs degree with coursework in water/wastewater technology, civil engineering, chemistry, biology, or related field.
AND
Eight years of experience in water operations including four years of experience managing the operation and maintenance of a water facility and direct supervision of staff.
Special Requirements
- Must possess a Level IV New Mexico State Water Systems Certification
OR
- An additional four years of water operations management and supervision (in addition to the Minimum Experience Qualification requirement) can be substituted for a level IV Certification.
