Job summary
Responsible for the Health Plan and executing operational performance. Accountable for daily delivery of health plan services to Medicaid beneficiaries throughout Region 9 and Region 11. Direct the following cross functional departments: Appeals & Grievances, Member Services, Program Management, Provider Relations, Provider Engagement, Network Operations, Contract Management, Informatics & Analytics, and Community Outreach.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field
- More than 10 years of health care management and/or consulting experience
- 9+ years of health plan operations experience
- Previous provider contract negotiation experience
- Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO)
- Level II Background Check required

Job Specific Duties
- Independently leading large, complex, field-based implementations and serve as the primary market leader and cross-functional teams.
- Driving the team and other program Leaders to own the necessary delivery documents including limited to project plans, issues and action logs, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Driving overall implementation across all work streams and overseeing the day-to-day project and program execution; report status, manage risks, and issues; track milestones and deliverables.
- Accountable for the creation and management of project plans for assigned work streams during an implementation.
- Driving the creation of a single program plan across all work streams by identifying and tracking key inter-work stream dependencies.
- Leading senior client discussions, steering committees, and meetings during implementation and ongoing business.
- Analyzing the contractual agreement to define the project scope, goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables as well as provide oversight for the delivery.
- Articulate the critical path milestones for the overall implementation and ongoing business needs. Hold internal and external parties accountable to the delivery timeframes.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with internal executive stakeholders and delivery partners across the organization.
