What You Need to Succeed
You will have a proven track record of taking ideas from concept, to prototype and finally to production at a scale, scope, and speed not found in most places. The ideal candidate will have strong capabilities in the following:
- Automation Systems
- Robotics
- High Speed Assembly/Packaging
- Material Handling Equipment (Fixed and Dynamic)
- Machine Design – You have built things that have worked at scale. You know how to size components, control them in discrete and continuous domains.
- Expertise in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field (I.E. You are the person that others come to with a question in one of these domains.)
- Engineering Requirements Documentation
- Product Design and Development Phases (Concept, Prototype and Production)
You have been exposed to or have done the following:
- Controls of discrete automation systems â Machine Vision, Mobile Robotics,
- Simulation and or model based design. You have conducted an FEA, or discrete simulation, or built a model that predicted behavior in your system.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in one engineering domain.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry.
- You have successfully worked with automation projects, or innovative products and can point easily to your direct contributions.
- You are very knowledgeable in all aspects of supplier management, how to research, interview, bring online, and hold accountable.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years experience in either MHE, Automation, Product, or other innovative industries. With a BSc in one Engineering domain.
