We are seeking a Contract Manager who has managed contract portfolios from the following agency and/or agencies (DOD, Intel, Dept of VA) would be ideal. We are looking for a CM who has experience working for a large enterprise organization.
The Contract Manager may manage more than one contract or, alternatively, be full-time on a single project, depending on the size/complexity of the agreement. The Contract Manager may be placed or rotate into a specialized discipline for pre-award or post-award support depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
- Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution
- Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
- Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring contract data input is entered timely into the finance and contract management systems of record
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of data call responses
- Responsible for consultation and escalation to a Manager or Director, of contractual, business or CM positioning issues which are not solved satisfactorily by the project team in a timely manner
- Responsible for documentation and implementation of CM processes including Contract Awareness, Records Management, Change Control, Risk & Issues Management, Client Data Protection, Client Notices and related compliance functions
- Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal Services, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly
- Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance with its terms, conditions and obligations
- Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement
- Actively involved Contract Management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 4 Year College degree required
- Membership and/or Certification in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or and professional certification are a plus
- Minimum of 7+ years in contract management industry experience
- Systems accessed for this role require US Citizenship status.
