Job Title: Concur Implementation Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA – 30328
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Primary Purpose of Position:
The Project Manager interjects discipline, rigor and consistency into the project planning and execution process to enable teams to efficiently deliver against goals from concept to full roll-out. This person will work with business leadership as well as functional managers across our GBS, IT & Accounts Payable teams to properly plan, approve and execute the deployment of a global expense management tool, Concur.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Manages the project planning & project management processes for a global expense management system implementation.
- Develops and manages project plan including timelines for the project with clear accountabilities, dates, milestones & review points.
- Facilitates project governance meetings and drives stakeholder alignment
- Schedules and facilitates effective project team meetings, reports on status against plan, prepares team meeting notes and clearly communicates actions required.
- Makes project leaders aware of issues that may impede success in a timely manner. For example: delay in timelines, or resource conflicts. Develops and facilitates execution of mitigation plans.
- Verifies appropriate parties have signed off on project documents and agree to support the team goals.
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelorâs degree in business, engineering or related field; MBA preferred but not required
- PMP certification
- Prior experience managing IT projects and strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities
