The Member Data Integrity Team (DIT) is responsible for the membership database; member and customer records, system setups and order transaction processing in Member Services. The team also manages the College’s member and customer database, and dues billing and collection activities.
This position is responsible for managing the membership dues billing operations; membership database integrity and maintenance; product and service transaction database needs; participating in the interdepartmental AMS team. The position also collaboratively establishes and maintains data entry quality standards and reporting as needed. This person will supervise the staff in the DIT and actively contribute to the Membership budgets, while maintaining a hands-on role alongside the DIT team.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively leads efforts to update members’ professional, demographic, and transactional data in order to maintain clean, current and complete member profiles.
- Provide management of the business systems membership records, payment transactions, data entry quality standards, data edit reports and corrections, and data exception reports.
- Collaborate on College-wide membership database needs.
- Assist with member dues billing preparation, production, follow-up processes, and dues revenues monitoring.
- Establish and ensure comprehensive reporting on transaction volumes and tracking for the department.
- Supervise DIT members’ performance and provide performance appraisals and ongoing coaching.
- Maintain AMS product codes and setups.
- Develop and distribute data exception reports to team to monitor and correct system data.
- Develop plan and coordinate efforts to standardize address formatting in AMS to reflect USPS recommended address formatting.
- Develop plan and coordinate efforts of DIT to use appropriate market and discount codes in AMS to properly track marketing efforts and accurately identify various revenues; oversee data entry projects, provide direction and timelines.
- Oversee mass data entry requests received from business lines across the College.
- Champion AMS Policies, Procedures & Efficiencies.Maintain fundamental knowledge of critical processes. Routinely direct and conduct testing of system setups and processes.
- Encourage team members to look for opportunities for process simplification and improvements, and lead by example.
- Design and report individual and departmental performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Ensure the development of documented departmental procedures to ensure continuity of work.
- Maintain harmony among team members and quickly resolve issues, partnering with leadership and HR when needed.
- Evaluate and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in database management, data collection, data analysis, and data reporting required.
- Expert Microsoft Excel Skills
- Must demonstrate an ability to effectively lead and direct others; prior management experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with Personify, iMIS, GoMembers, or similar customer management system required (Personify preferred).
- Must have advanced SQL, Data Analyzer, or Crystal Reports experience.
- Expert with MS Office applications and Microsoft Outlook.
- Significant experience with relational databases.
- Excellent English language oral, written, and comprehension abilities.
- Ability to travel 2+ times per year
- Attention to detail and ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
