The Associate Director, Digital Channel Lead role has a key responsibility of supporting and evolving field digital marketing channels at our Company. If you have subject matter expertise in Veeva CRM, email, marketing campaigns, and other digital engagement channels this is the position for you.

You will collaborate with Marketing and Digital Engagement Teams to provide your expertise on how to utilize field digital marketing channels that provide the best customer/user experience. You will have a high degree of empowerment and autonomy to own the strategy roadmap and execution of your assigned channels and capabilities. The organization will be looking for you to translate strategies into workable solutions that provide optimal customer experiences, while working to define the appropriate guidance and standards to ensure digital marketing resources are relevant to customers and compliant.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Digital Channel Capabilities to ensure promotional resources are designed based on the optimal Customer and User Experience (CX / UX)
  • Own and maintain digital channel specific standards and guidance (best practices, channel Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), regulatory, compliance)
  • Continually assess and bring forward new trends in digital marketing capabilities to improve customer engagement
  • Engage with Marketing and Digital Engagement Teams to share channel best practices and standards
  • Drive change and influence stakeholders/decision makers
  • Design, develop and implement digital channel capability pilots
  • Enable new marketing technology solutions
  • Define business requirements for technology platforms: suitability assessment and best practices
  • Input / oversight of vendor selection and may manage marketing service vendors
  • Work with our Company’s analytics group to establish data management and analytics to assess and optimize channel performance
  • Facilitate the integration between marketing / promotion, legal/regulatory and technical teams
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Understand and work within an Agile marketing methodology
  • Work across an expansive portfolio of products within the US Market Business Units

Education Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA / BS) degree

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5 years of experience combined in marketing, agency, marketing support, digital channel innovation
  • Minimum of 7 total years of professional work experience

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Developing and executing marketing strategy successfully while collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus, with effective project management expertise.
  • Planning and rolling out new capabilities, and the ability to identify and implement scalable process improvements using a data-driven approach.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems.
  • Passion for working with technology products and solving customer needs.
  • Developing digital marketing content
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills and ability to collaborate across the organization and with external agencies / vendors to drive work toward a common goal
  • Ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders, and lead without authority
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
