The Analytics Project Manager is a vital part of IntelliScript’s collaborative Analytics team. Our high-caliber reporting (a longstanding cornerstone of IntelliScript’s suite of products) includes pilots and studies, which enable our current and prospective clients to assess the incredible value that our tool(s) can bring to their bottom line. We have seen a dramatic increase over the past year in the volume and complexity of our clients’ requests. Working in tandem with our current team of Analytics Project Managers, this new hire will foster internal communication cross-functionally as well as with clients, ensure that every step occurs on time, and drive each project to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 5-10 concurrent projects (in various stages) ranging from 2-8 weeks in duration
  • Deal with large Excel workbooks containing complex prescription and medical data (receive, input, distribute)
  • Create detailed project plans including goals, priorities, deadlines, deliverables, and assignments
  • Partner with Operations to ensure compliance
  • Field requests from client contacts for updates and information
  • Assess accuracy and completeness of incoming client data
  • Speak the “language” of all teams involved, translate between levels and functions
  • Quickly make good decisions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by tracking and prioritizing numerous forms of data
  • Work cooperatively and treat clients and coworkers with respect and dignity while valuing individual differences
  • Demonstrate commitment to being creative, innovative, flexible and adaptable, focusing on delivering quality solutions.

Professional Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated competency in Excel: comfortable understanding and discussing large data sets and complex workbooks
  • Strong communication across mediums (phone, email, Skype for screen-sharing, in person)

Personal Qualifications

  • Methodical when following a process, and proactive in identifying process improvements
  • Assertive and collaborative, able to exert influence with clear reasons / decisions
  • Articulate and professional when speaking with clients as well as with colleagues
  • Sensitive to security and compliance requirements
  • Comfortable working independently and in teams
  • Highly skilled at prioritizing and managing time effectively
  • Dedicated to fulfilling a Project Manager role (please note, this is not an actuarial track position)

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Previous experience with project management software (Wrike, Slack, MS Project, etc.)
  • SQL or other querying experience
  • Project Management certification
  • Knowledge of the insurance underwriting or healthcare industry
  • Comfortable presenting in front of groups (in person, via WebEx, etc.)

Location

This position will be based out of the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI. Applicants must be willing to work onsite in the Milliman office.
