Vice President of Wholesale

Jack Williams Tire is currently seeking a Vice President of Wholesale to lead our wholesale team. Currently celebrating out 90th year in operation, Jack Williams Tire has expanded from one shop in Kingston, PA to more than 36 retail and 13 wholesale locations throughout PA, NY and NJ. Throughout all of this growth and expansion, we have remained a dedicated family business and we treat each member of our team like family.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives for the wholesale division.

Reviews the general business climate within the warehouse and wholesale centers and adjusts staffing, resources and materials as needed.

Directs and coordinates activities of warehouse and wholesale center operations through the management of subordinate supervisors for multiple warehouses for PA, NJ, NY.

Manages all aspects of the wholesale center expansion initiatives.

Implements processes to ensure top level performance in customer service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including on-time shipments of deliveries and order fulfillment. *

Manages annual wholesale budget and holds the locations accountable to it.

Analyzes sales strategies within each territory, and makes necessary adjustments within management guidelines to accomplish company objectives.

Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.

Responsible for managing day to day operations with wholesale management.

Member of the Company Executive Leadership Team to formulate strategic plans in growing the business.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains an effective organization through the selection, training, compensation and motivation of all subordinate personnel.

Provides guidance and direction to subordinate Wholesale management to assist them in their personal and professional development.

Selects, develops, and motivates qualified staff to provide for the continuity of required skills.

Establishes department policies and standards to ensure effective operations.
