Basic Function:
Support the VP/GM of PU Puerto Rico in the development, deployment and control of Key Strategic Projects to increase Fresenius Kabi profitability in Puerto Rico. Analyze current KPI’s; develop new KPI’s for the effective evaluation of daily operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Senior Management of PU Puerto Rico on a daily basis on all requested activities aligned with Fresenius Kabi objectives.
- Consolidation, analysis and presentation of Operations KPI for the PU Puerto Rico.
- Regular project status updates including CAPEX, timing, implications for R&D, Sales and Production
- Reconciliation on Monthly Operating Results with current Forecast, Budget and Outlook, summarizing and presenting monthly results for PU Puerto Rico based on: Plant Result, EBIT, CAPEX, Inventory and HR reporting
- Support the VP/GM on preparation of meetings, and presentation of financial planning results – Forecast and Budget
- Answering ad-hoc requests by R&D, Corporate controlling, sales and quality teams regarding product costs, project status, complaints and other operations matters.
- Organizing, coordinating and following up on decisions at Monthly Review meetings by the VP/M and PU Puerto Rico Senior Staff.
- Systematic filing of project and operations related documents, electronic files, and any other business-related document inherit to the Strategic Objectives of PU Puerto Rico.
- Improve the Annual Operating Plan process.
- Develop an on-going list of business improvement opportunities to be the comer stone of Pu Puerto Rico strategy.
- Help the VP/GM on the development of the on-going “ideal” manufacturing organization of PU Puerto Rico.
- Lead an ongoing “Activity Based Costing” process for BPU’s and Alyx disposables.
- Be the main contact lead for (“enable”) Green Belt and “Black Belt” projects.
- Be the administrator and custodian of the PU Puerto Rico Strategic Plan.
- Lead and facilitate the PU Puerto Rico ‘Weekly Project Review”.
- Establish a formal Benchmark process to improve PU Puerto Rico.
- Identify, develop and implement a “Cockpit” concept for Puerto Rico KPI’s.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s in science of Engineering or
· Bachelor’s in business administration – MBA preferred
· 5-10 years valid strong manufacturing experience
