Andersen Material Handling has an immediate opening for a highly successful and skilled Director of Sales who will manage and lead the Eastern Michigan Sales team.
This hands-on leader will work with Senior Management to develop short and long term strategic goals and will be responsible for guiding, planning and implementation drivers for the Sales Team. Internally will work with and provide leadership to the sales team through the development of effective goal setting, regular review of sales activities and effectiveness; and the development of programs to improve individual sales performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Will participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
Reviews analysis of activities, cost, operations, and forecast data to determine division program toward stated goals and objectives.
Confers with executive management (V.P. Branch) to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development
Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years min. experience in the Industrial Lift Truck Industry.
- Bachelors in Business and/or Lift Truck Industry experience.
- Previous proven successful track record in Sales and Sales Mgmt.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the work force.
- Strong business ethics and integrity.
