JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
The primary role of the Risk Project Manager is to support the Risk Management Services function by leading the identification, analysis, management and reporting of various risk mitigants throughout the organization, including New Products and Initiatives, Change Management and Data Governance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer the Bank’s Risk Assessment program for New Products and Initiatives (NPI). This includes enhancements to the NPI tool and broadening of SME involvement to assure meaningful and holistic assessments of NPIs prior to implementation.
- Establish data governance and quality assurance framework to ensure data accuracy and integrity; conduct systematic analysis of data to assess integrity; identify trends or correlations; and communicate findings.
- Implement enterprise-wide change management program in coordination with EPO, ORM, IT and other necessary stakeholders.
- Provide proactive leadership in identifying and developing projects involving or improving NPIs, strategic priorities and data governance by conducting research, leading risk workshops and meetings, reviewing documentation, and evaluating controls and risk levels.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve process gaps and track resolutions. Conduct process reviews, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose enhancements for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other corporate risk functions and business units to streamline and align risk management practices
- Develop executive summary reports of analysis such as informative dashboards, charts and graphs, exception items, and supporting detail to support decision making. Create and implement new analytical techniques, tools, or models to advance program maturity.
- Provide thought leadership and assist in development or refinement of risk program methodologies; draft supporting policy and procedure; prepare and deliver training; operate / administer ongoing procedures as required

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5 years of experience in in banking, data, risk management, audit, project management, or information systems analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of reporting tools and platforms with a familiarity with database and information warehousing
- Ability to learn new enterprise systems to an advanced level
- Demonstrated strong communication skills including strong interpersonal skills (listening, speaking and probing).

- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
