Job Summary
Position: Project Manager / PMO (Project Manager Office)
Location: San Diego CA
Duration: 6+ Month
Responsibilities and Duties
Roles and responsibilities:
- Define high level milestones for projects by working closely with all various teams in the engineering organization with various product managers, program managers and architects and track critical dependencies
- Drive weekly status meetings across all the teams and share a summarized version of the project’s scope and progress with leadership
- Efficiently track schedules for your projects and on-time delivery
- Serve as the point of contact for all the teams for issue resolution
- Present comprehensive data governance reporting on a monthly basis to the leadership team
- Identify ways to improve efficiency of our processes via documentation and process improvement Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related technical field/equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industry experience as a technical program manager or in project management
- Proficiency in JIRA, MS Professional and other project management tools
- A solid foundation in software development lifecycle practices and project management techniques
- Solid written and verbal technical communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail
- Proven ability to deliver solutions in collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams
