What YOU can offer Cascadia Healthcare2 years nursing experience in a long term care environment. 2 years management experiencing including responsibility for regulatory issues and performance improvement programs. Multi-site experience is preferred.
Position Summary: The President plans, directs, implements and evaluates overall development, management and successful administration of Post-Acute Long Term Care Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The President is responsible for all financial and administration operations, supervision of leadership, business and program development and strategic planning related to program quality measures, internal and external growth.
Note: All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents
Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is necessary. MBA or MHA preferred, but other advanced degrees will be considered.
Experience: 10 years’ minimum experience in an executive leadership role in the post-acute rehab long term clinical setting; SNF, IL and ALF.
5+ years in a multi-site and multi-state management position.
Active Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
Essential Functions
Provides high quality services such as budgeting, strategic planning, and ensuring operational efficiency for the post-acute care continuum.
Recognizes issues and potential problems, develops relevant facts, formulates alternative solutions and make appropriate decisions based on such analysis.
Applies an understanding of the relationship between clinical and financial operations
Writes clear and concise reports, memos, bulletins, and articles, and conducts effective presentations.
Works collaboratively within all facilities of Cascadia Healthcare and internal and external stake holders.
Understands extensively Medicare/Medicaid/HMO’s fees, avoids bad debts and works to increase income and profit.
Participates in networking events and industry associations, both firm associates and healthcare trade associations.
Identifies opportunities to develop and expand business relationships.
Participates in professional, charitable, social and other activities that cultivate professional relationships internally and externally.
Contributes constructive and critical thinking ideas to improve all operations over all facilities within Cascadia Healthcare.
Demonstrates leadership through example. Operates as an effective role model. Inspires, leads, mentors, trains and motivates all staff.
Supervises CEO’s and other pertinent staff, providing appropriate instructions, follow up and feedback in a timely manner.
Participates in the recruitment and retention of leadership/CEO positions.
Ability to travel 50% or more per year as needed.
Ability to work in Excel, Word, Power Point.

Possesses a keen sense of busness management, including financials, guided by a strong set of values and ethics.
