The Installation/Service Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of skilled workers who handle all phases of installation and maintenance of both interior and exterior illuminated and non-illuminated signage. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all company installation tools and fleet vehicles located at our Milwaukie, OR facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of installation/service employees which includes hiring, scheduling, training, and tracking performance
- Survey job sites as necessary
- Schedule installation/service crews based on project and skills needed
- Monitor the progress and completion of all installation projects
Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
- 5+ yearsâ journeyman installation experience required
- 2+ yearsâ supervisory or equivalent experience required
- Job site surveying experience required
- Job estimating experience required
- Strong computer skills required
- Prior sign experience strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written skills required
- Highly organized, reliable and punctual
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight timelines
- Ability to work effectively with varying personalities at all levels within the organization
