JR. Scrum Master (Aerospace & Aviation)

Tsunami Tsolutions is looking a motivated Jr.Scrum Master to support our organization. Preferred candidates will be collaborative, continually improving and work well in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a team-oriented self-starter that works closely with the development manager and program management. We are experiencing rapid growth and the need arise for us to add to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the team to encourage adoption of good agile practices and standards.
• Create an environment that empowers and energizes team members, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration
• Hands-on coaching of scrum teams in all aspects of scrum (facilitating daily stand-up meetings, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, calculating velocity, limiting work in progress, etc.)
• Support the team by employing a servant-leadership style, removing blockers & impediments and leading by example.
• Be passionate about Agile methodologies and enjoy applying them to deliver business value to our customers.
• Facilitate decision-making and empower the team by acting as a servant leader.
• Continually seek out ways to enhance agile knowledge and technical expertise
• Oversee and manage backlog, scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals.

Position Requirements:

Education & Certifications

• Associate degree/Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 3+ years related experience in lieu of degree * Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Product Owner (CPO) preferred

Knowledge and Experience:

• Awareness and experience with Agile techniques/concepts
• 1+ years scrum master experience preferred
• 2+ years Agile experience preferred
• JIRA experience is a strong plus
• Experience in using software such as Confluence preferred and an attitude for learning new programs as needed.
