JOB SUMMARY
The Implementation Project Manager is a member of the Enterprise Project Management Office, which is responsible for directing all client onboarding product implementations for International Medical Group. Our Project Managers will manage small to large implementations after sale.
They will work with both internal and external business customers, business/requirements analysts, application architects, developers and QA staff to deliver system improvements to streamline our business processes and improve our customer experience.
The key to success in this role will be to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines while clearly and concisely communicating deliverable and timeline expectations and status.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the IMG Implementation process for multiple projects as assigned.
- Organize and lead meetings with key stakeholders as needed to review project status, deliverables and issues.
- Manage project full lifecycle of implementation.
- Develop and manage implementation project plans, milestones and timelines to baseline tasks required for newly closed client projects.
- Tailor processes to meet the needs of individual projects
- Coordinate with implementation team (Product, IT, Operations, Marketing, Training)
- Build and maintain a good relationship with stakeholders to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Track and hold individuals accountable to their set of tasks
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in project management system
- Address and resolve common customer implementation challenges such as scope creep and incorrect expectations.
- Facilitate weekly project meeting cadence
- Provide status reporting and responsive feedback to management and senior leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field. An equivalent combination of education and position specific work experience may be considered
- 2-5 years related implementation / project management experience and/or training, preferably in an insurance or assistance environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including MS Project
- Ability to problem – solve and seek alternative solutions while also managing stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to multi task
- Experience planning projects and managing timelines
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with insurance, assistance, or health care industries
- Project management certification preferred
