The HR Programs Manager is responsible for leading strategic HR projects and ongoing HR process improvement. This role acts as the program manager for HR projects globally, partners with the CHRO, works closely with the HR leadership team, sets agendas for leadership meetings, and drives for decisions when appropriate to ensure the HR strategic priorities advance on time and within budget.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
- Directs and manages Human Resources project development, planning and execution from beginning to end, including project plan, budget, and stakeholder contributions
- Brings an objective perspective in managing business problems. Provides insight regarding people, organizational dynamics and the business and translates this insight into sustainable solutions
- Diagnoses issues, and recommends solutions to highly complex business, people and organizational issues across multiple groups within the company.
- Drives process improvement initiatives within the HR organization
- Tracks progress against key initiatives and eliminates roadblocks as needed
- Leads all HR-related M&A activities, including due diligence
- Coordinates the HR Strategic Planning Process
- Guides strategic communication within HR partnering with HR Communications
- Prepares HR presentations for internal and external audiences on behalf of the CHRO – principal lead for Quarterly Town-Hall meetings for Global HR organization
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with experience in both waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Minimum 6 years of experience working with Human Resources
- Ability to utilize process improvement tools and methods (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, TQM)
- Customer focused with a high level of credibility and collaboration
- Fluency with data-driven analysis and performance metrics including visualizations
- Broad business and financial understanding and the ability to apply to human capital implications
- Ability to think strategically, synthesize business data and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions that are forward thinking and growth oriented
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
- Critical and creative problem-solving skills
