Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Senior Software Engineer within the Investment Research Engineering group. Work across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using the Agile methodology. Responsible for requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration and regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment. Interface with the Firm’s technical and operational divisions, including Entitlements Engineering, Treasury Operations and Payments Engineering. Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed designs, test and implementation plans from business requirements. Interact and work with junior developers, business stakeholders and technology leadership to establish a direction for the implementation of entitlements functionality aligned with division strategy. Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior teammates. Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, while maintaining the stability and integrity of Goldman Sachs’ systems.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have seven (7) years of experience with: Object-Oriented Application Development (such as Java or another OO language) and design patterns; entire Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment and production support; and programming in the Linux, Unix and Windows environments. Must have five (5) years of experience with: using standard markup languages, including JSON, XML and YAML; working on a global software development team and communicating status/design effectively across multiple regions; and writing complex queries for both SQL relational databases and NoSQL document databases. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Java 8, MongoDB, Elastic Search, and React.
