AppDynamics, a Cisco company, is looking for a results-driven Executive Briefing Center (EBC) Program Director to build, grow, and scale a premier briefing program. As part of our Customer Experience Center (CXC), the Program Director will be a crucial leader in the broader Marketing organization, and will act as a mini CEO for the CXC program. The AppDynamics CXC program is a revenue-generating opportunity for the company. We are looking for a business leader to partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and our Executive team to plan, design, and deliver best-in- class CXC programs for our customers.
As Program Director, this role is responsible for three key CXC programs which include strategic briefings at AppDynamics’ new state-of-the-art center in San Francisco, Cisco-sourced briefings in one of Cisco’s 12 global theatres, or strategic customer meetings at 3rd party trade shows or hosted events.
A successful Program Director is an expert team-leader, meeting facilitator, and a customer enthusiast, and has experience building customized experiences for customers which meet them where they are, with an emphasis on driving outcomes and actions.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Build vision and strategy for the broader CXC program with annual plans for each of the three program types
- Report business plans and results to AppDynamics executive staff and key partners
- Partner with sales on specific account planning, developing a team of regional CXC program designers to educate sales and consider CXC meetings during appropriate account stages
- Operationalize key program components to improve processes, reduce churn, and increase opportunities to scale across the world
- Apply innovative design and facilitation principles to insure customer experiences result in positive outcomes
- Lead a team of regional designers, operations, and technical program leads
- Generate demand and increase CXC activity in our new Experience Center at AppDynamics HQ in San Francisco
- Build a standardized process and playbook for pre, during, and post CXC briefings to improve impact and potential
- Align closely to Cisco’s CXC team for strategic growth opportunities and to influence Cisco’s CXC program and content
Experience And Skills
- 10 + years experience in Sales or Marketing or equivalent position for an enterprise software company
- 4+ years experience in Executive Briefing Centers or equivalent programs
- Strong program and business management skills and the ability to lead effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to nurture customer intimacy and dedication, and a customer-champion attitude
