As a result, we are looking for an enthusiastic Director/Senior Manager, Organization Development – a newly created position – to join our team. This leader will be responsible for effectively executing a corporate global diversity and inclusion strategy while also focusing on company-wide organizational development. The Director/Senior Manager will be a strategic partner to senior business and HR leadership while serving as a change agent in designing and developing cutting-edge workforce strategies. This newly created role will be an integral part of our larger Human Resources team.

The Director/Senior Manager, Organization Development will be instrumental in helping Cvent build on our strong foundational and cultural values. Working with senior management, this individual will be responsible for cultivating an inclusive and highly engaged workforce. This includes not only creating and driving cultural awareness initiatives but implementing practices to move towards a more inclusive and diverse environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create and drive strategies and programs that improve employee engagement, productivity, and organizational effectiveness
  • Develop and execute a global diversity and inclusion vision, strategy, and project plan
  • Act as a change agent to drive strategic initiatives through strong partnerships across the organization
  • Evaluate and refine programs to further the support of hiring, retention, and development of a diverse talent pipeline
  • Provide consulting and insight to the business and the VP of Human Resources on trends, areas of opportunity, and competitive programs and practices
  • Create and administer Employee Community Groups; share best practices across groups
  • Benchmark industry best practices to support strategies to monitor and evaluate departmental and company-wide progress in creating a diverse and inclusive workforce
  • Assess and support company-wide compliance programs and implement department-specific programs in partnership with our global L&D team
  • Partner and consult with internal stakeholders such as our talent acquisition, HR Business Partner, and Legal teams
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization through effective listening and problem solving
  • Create and deliver training dashboards and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and understand ROI

What You Need for this Position

  • A four-year college degree or equivalent experience is required
  • 12+ years of professional HR or relevant experience with an emphasis on organizational development or employee engagement/employee experience
  • 5+ years of driving organizational effectiveness or leading diversity and inclusion programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of compliance, diversity, and inclusion principles
  • Demonstrated experience leading cultural change and influencing key stakeholders
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Program management experience leading a large-scale change management initiatives
  • Strong analytical, project management, and decision-making skills
  • Proven collaboration skills working with key stakeholders
