DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION
The Director of HR and Administration will be supervised by the Chief Operating Officer/General Manager. The primary duties of this position are the operation of the Human Resources and Administration Department as established by the policies and procedures of the Association and Personnel Manual. This will consist of coordinating front counter staff and employee reviews, monitoring the Association website, organizing the annual meeting and board election and taking and preparing board and committee minutes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Estimated 85% of total hours

 Responds in a timely manner to resident concerns and front counter issues.

 Serves as main administrator for Association website (www.lakeridgeva.com)

 Coordinates the annual meeting and election of board members.

 Attends evening meetings to take board and committee minutes as required.

Assists in the preparation of both board and committee agendas.

Responsible for compliance and renewal of waste and recycling contract.

 Assists COO/GM in annual renewal of employee health insurance contract.

 Supervise, train and perform front counter employee reviews.

 Supports new employee benefit package registration.

 Coordinates and writes articles for the bimonthly Lake Ridge Today magazine.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Estimated 15% of total hours

 Responsible for upkeep of employee personal files.

Monitors and attends to the Little Free Library.

Works and supports other departments as necessary and assigned.

All other duties as assigned.

JOB INFORMATION

 Full-time salaried position (Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM) – some evening meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Four year College degree required.

 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail/Strong verbal and written skills

 Strong supervisory and customer service skills.

 Ability to take minutes for board and committee meetings.

 Supervisory experience preferred.

 Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

 Good Word, Excel and Power Point computer skills

 Completion of CAI M-100 and CMCA required in 2020.
