Chief Operating Officer Benefits & Compensation:

Chief Operating Officer Job Duties:

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors

Chief Operating Officer Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field required
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in developing broad-scoped business relationships and managing and growing small to medium sized organizations
  • Expertise in a manufacturing/construction or other “trade-like” business required
  • Some experience with acquisition integration required
  • Need someone with a track record of helping to GROW a company
  • Some travel required
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, self-confidence
  • Strong business and financial acumen
