Main Responsibilities

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

Primary liaison between company and client senior management

General Operations management; review post orders and make recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered; review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required; responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business standards

General Human Resources management; including selection and placement, performance reviews, attendance management, conflict resolution; scheduling, and payroll

Review SOPs periodically for officer instruction, ensuring accuracy, and recommending changes to improve overall operational efficiency/performance

Review alarm system open/close reports, compile exception reports and forward to appropriate security manager/operations manager for review

Provide monthly report to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues

Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annually review and revise the security Emergency Response plan

Conduct and document monthly testing of security systems; follow through on any corrections/maintenance issues

Document and maintain up to date training, certification and performance records for all contract security personnel assigned to the contract

Address and correct performance issues of the contract security officers following the Security Company Guidelines

Review and maintain accurate filing of all security logs, which include Officer Logs, Pass On Reports, and Temporary Badge Audits, ensuring all reports are being properly completed and filed

Develop and train subordinates; conduct performance appraisals and implement action for promotion, transfer and termination

The Ideal Candidate

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing

Must possess a current and valid driver’s license if driving client or company vehicle

Must have completed, or be able to complete, the G4S Professional Development Course within the first 120 days of accepting the position

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing personnel and with overseeing training and developing personnel at the site level

Must possess one or more of the following:
Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone

Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field

Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies

A minimum of 8 or more years of active service in any military branch

Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected.

Major Activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching.
