Vice President of Human Resources
PICKUP is seeking an experienced and passionate Vice President of Human Resources. The position will be based in our Plano, TX office and report to the President & COO. The role assumes corporate responsibility for leading our human strategy, compliance, risk, employee relations and culture during a period of rapid growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively lead the development and implementation of corporate human resources policies, procedures, programs, and practices in compliance with labor laws and employment practices.
  • Work closely with the rest of the leadership team to develop & execute human capital strategies and consistent HR processes that help our people grow professionally and personally.
  • Work with all levels of leadership to assess the needs of their departments and help accomplish business objectives by recommending human resources solutions and measures.
  • Lead our recruiting efforts to attract top talent across all functional areas. Develop a professional interviewing process and align interview process with key core values
  • Develop and manage a competitive compensation structure and workforce planning strategies for all levels of employees that will attract and retain a skilled, diverse and effective workforce.
  • Advise management on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and procedures for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews and harassment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with employment-related matters, develop and implement compliance programs and training, and submit required employment-related reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Promote PICKUP’s great culture and ensure that it flourishes and that employees are happy and engaged across all operating areas.
  • Stay abreast of emerging employment related trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including prior experience leading the HR function as an executive team member.
  • Ability to not only think strategically, but also focus on tactical and operational issues.
  • Experience recruiting and on-boarding teams in high-volume / fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to engage at all levels of the organization to formulate plans and influence human strategies.
  • Experience developing and managing effective incentive compensation, benefits, and reward and recognition programs.
