Mojo Marketing is looking for a VP of Business Operations to oversee our day-to-day operations. This is a new senior-level role born out of our double-digit growth each year for the last four years. This person will play a crucial role, shaping the future of the agency as we continue our aggressive growth path, so highly developed leadership skills and a successful track record in marketing agency operations are a must.
This position will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
Leadership
- Lead daily operations, allowing the CEO to focus on company strategy, brand and growth
- Monitor and manage budgets and staffing resources
- Initiate, plan and drive projects to final stages of completion
- Establish internal processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure proper the development and delivery of training to staff
Operations
- Actively research, develop and maintain best-in-class operational practices, including planning, budgeting, process and procedures, personnel management and technology solutions
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with all employees, contractors, partners and customers
- Maintain, monitor and report on specific operational metrics (including staff utilization/productivity, accuracy against estimates, project production costs, and error rates) that show performance against targets
Financial & Administrative
- Manage agency project financials and ensure proper billing and invoicing
- Support in the development and maintenance of monthly financial reports
- Establish HR procedures and monitor issues

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a marketing agency operations lead required
- A proven track record in effectively recruiting, hiring, managing, developing and motivating staff
- Deep knowledge of cutting-edge marketing best practices
- A demonstrated ability to successfully improve agency KPIs, such as utilization rate and profit margins
- Hubspot experience preferred
- Experience working with telecom and/or IT companies a big plus!
