Responsibilities:
- Strategically and professionally lead project planning and delivery execution of a Federal project by engaging customer project stakeholders
- Efficiently manage the schedule and resource of the project teams to fulfill customer requirements and meet implementation deadlines
- Design and develop a well-defined project plan by breaking down deliverable tracking, budgeted hours and resource planning
- Track the delivery progress to plan alongside project budget and performance metrics.
- Provide organized and timely management of project communications/meetings, dependencies, action items, issues and risks
- Manage internal and external expectations consistently aligned with the actual and forecasted delivery progress, budget tracking and project risks
- Optimize teamwork across geographically dispersed team members.
- Quality management of software delivery
- Management of client expectations including in areas of scope, schedule, budget, and satisfaction
- Understand the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, testing and deployment methodologies for successful execution of the project
- Escalate issues to designated team contacts and/or cross-functional teams in a timely manner to ensure implementation issues are addressed early
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience directly leading full cycle technical projects, preferably leading infrastructure and 24/7/365 ITSM projects.
- Bachelors degree, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members
- ITIL Certification
- Federal Experience
