Role Overview
This position is for a seasoned professional in Project Management, who works independently, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects, facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations, forecast project revenues, tracks progress, identifies project problems, and recommends resolutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyzes data/metrics to identify improvement opportunities and develop sourcing and supply chain strategies

• Develops strategic plans for cost saving opportunities, such as supplier reconciliation, outsourcing/insourcing, low cost country, etc.

• Identifies and conducts research on suppliers to ensure that the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met

• Evaluates vendors’ capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness

• Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices

• Negotiates and administers contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives

• Engages and collaborates with cross-functional internal partners in determination and execution of outsourcing/insourcing initiatives

• Leads collaboration with central commodity and international support teams in the execution of low cost country sourcing strategies

• Manages adherence to import/export regulations and partners with internal ITC organization

• Supports process improvement initiatives in alignment with Supply Chain strategy

• Directs implementation of supply chain management related programs and processes

• Performs supply chain activities that cannot be attributed to a defined discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience

• Experience developing supply chain strategies

• Experience with import/export regulations

Travel Requirements:

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%, including potential international travel
