Wholesale Banking
provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.


Wells Fargo Commercial Capital (WFCC)
combines Wholesale’s secured lending businesses including Asset Backed Finance (ABF), Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), Corporate Trust Services (CTS), Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF) and Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF). This consolidated group of businesses helps customers leverage their company’s assets into flexible financing solutions. WFCC is a leading contributor to Wholesales revenue, assets, and net income.

Within the Wells Fargo Capital Finance product team we are seeking a Scrum Master responsible for working with multiple and/or larger scale teams for Agile processes. This role works closely with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, team members and management in accordance with the Agile framework.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as Agile Scrummaster for multiple Scrum teams and ensure that the Scrum team lives by the values and practices of Scrum.
  • Scheduling and facilitating all charts, identifying and eliminating obstacles, and acting as communicator for the teams.
  • Serving as a team expert and enforcing Wells Fargo Capital Finance’s defined agile methodology standards
  • Frequently facilitating cross-functional process and technical design projects that may impact multiple lines of business, accounting, finance, operations, technology
  • Sharing and transferring SME/technical/business knowledge with peer and junior team members
  • As needed, assisting in performing business analysis, process design, project management, prioritization, release planning, story telling, task development and e implementation
  • As needed, documenting clear and thorough business requirements or user stories on Agile development teams
  • Researching, evaluating and recommending solutions for business processes and application enhancements to effectively support business and efficiency goals

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning


Other Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as acting Scrummaster for one or more complex teams.
  • 1+ year of experience with Jira
  • First Level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) strongly preferred
  • Second Level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II) desired
  • Experience on Agile projects and teams and strong understanding of SCRUM.
  • Experience moving teams and organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and Agile Transformations
  • Demonstrated ability to provide charts and articulate metrics in regards to Scrum performance
  • Ability to promote Agile best practices and lead and support the development of Agile culture
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable and tailor Agile approach to the organizational culture
  • Knowledge of Kanban
  • Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of business processes analysis and enhancing operations to accomplish business objectives
  • Experience working within an onshore/offshore model
  • Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Ability to coach and mentor the teams during times of transition.
  • Motivated, high-performing individual who has strong collaboration and influence skill-sets and desire to motivate, engage and drive the team to success
  • Self-motivated leader with ability to quickly learn and adapt to diverse environments
  • Ability to build relationships, trust and credibility from the outset
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
