In conjunction with the UHS corporate acquisition team, identifies physician practice opportunities in the assigned market. Manages local issues related to practice acquisition projects with the local senior leadership team. Assists with driving transactions forward and facilitating success. Participates in some or all of associated strategic processes including evaluation, valuation, due diligence and some elements of transition while liaising with appropriate internal leaders.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in finance, marketing, business management or any related fields is required. In lieu of degree, 7+ year’s healthcare supervisory/management experience. A Master’s degree in health or business administration is preferred.
Work experience: Three to five years of physician practice business leadership experience or healthcare management experience is required.
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the financial management, and business and clinical operations of a medical group practice
