The Project Manager is the leader of a cross-functional team created to plan and execute projects with the sole purpose of providing the defined customer deliverables while achieving the desired company goals. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of custom metal fabrication and mechanical equipment projects using planning, monitoring and controlling processes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide leadership throughout the project lifecyle.
  • Participates in the estimating and proposal phase.
  • Plans and coordinates the project workscope by performing a variety of tasks including, determining proper procedures to accomplish goals; assigning responsibilities to project team members; establishing deadlines; managing schedule; monitoring, summarizing and reporting progress; performs project closeout.
  • Ensures all contractual terms and obligations of projects are maintained and meet cost, quality and safety requirements.
  • Negotiates and tracks change orders.
  • Manages day-to-day client interaction and facilitates cross-functional communications between teams.
  • Manages multiple projects concurrently.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum two years’ experience required.
  • One-year experience with government or nuclear projects.
  • Experience working with a quality program is a must; ASME NQA-1 preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • B.S. degree in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations.
