Principal Scrum Master / Agile Coach

Drive software delivery in an agile team structure. Support multiple scrum teams in delivery of sprint goals and iterative delivery of software solutions that deliver business value. Partner with the product owner to support product backlog definition / refinement / prioritization to feed sprints. Proactively eliminate barriers, coach team members on best practices and run scrum ceremonies. Coach, analyze metrics that inform process improvement initiatives, and liaise with product owners to build and refine product backlogs.

Create dashboards, gather metrics, measure and monitor team progress
Collaborate with product owner in defining / refining / prioritizing product backlog in preparation for sprint planning
Coach team on agile best practices and standardized use of tools
Work with Agile Center for Excellence to recommend and develop agile standards that foster team and organizational agility
Conduct beginning and program increment agile maturity assessments
Facilitate conversations around standardization of workflow process management tools and integration with external management and reporting systems
Collaborate with program management on process improvement initiatives
Facilitate scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives)
Track and remove impediments for the scrum team; shield team from outside distractions

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. 8+ years of experience required, including experience on a product development team using agile / scrum and lead experience. Knowledge of agile methodologies beyond scrum preferred, such as Scaled Agile (SAFE), Kanban.

License/Certification: Certified Scrum Master or Certified Agile Practitioner required. PMP certification preferred
