Job Summary:
Coordinates office services for the President. Performs highly skilled secretarial and administrative duties. Assists in the management of the loan portfolio and the divisionâs loan portfolio as a whole.
General Description/Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assists the President with managing and servicing the loan portfolio for the President and the Division.
- Types reports, memos, emails, spreadsheets and other bank documents, frequently confidential in nature. Compiles and generates confidential documents.
- Provides key customers with exceptional service to resolve questions or concerns.
- Coordinates division marketing and sales campaigns, plans and coordinates special events, and serves as PR contact for the division.
- Tracks performance of the Pike division to ascertain the achievement of annual goals.
- Gathers information and assists with preparation of performance reviews for bank officers.
- Establishes and maintains files of key administrative matters, including matters relating to senior management, bank employees, and priority projects.
- Listens to and shares feedback from employees and customers.
- Prepares certain bank related personal reports for the President.
- Assists with building and facilities maintenance, organization and upkeep of the facilities.
- Makes recommendations about possible Bank improvements.
- Greets visitors and answers telephone, takes messages, and answers questions related to certain bank services. May place calls on behalf of executive officer to customers or on behalf of bank business.
- Prepares agenda and program for the local Board of Director meetings. Attends, takes minutes, and publishes minutes for each meeting.
- Coordinates employee birthday and anniversary cards for signatures and timeliness.
- Works as a team member with a group of people to achieve bank objectives.
- May provide loan processing services and administrative support.
- Position will be required to comply with all Federal and State banking laws and related regulations, to include but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
College Degree preferred or equivalent.
- Knowledge of bank products and the banking system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with customers on the phone and in person.
- Must be able to provide service in a courteous and confidential manner.
- Advanced computer skills, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, and intranet experience.
- Ability to handle sensitive information of the bank and customers in confidence.
- Ability to handle a number of tasks at one time.
- Excellent organizational skills and must be able to pay attention to details.
