Required Skills and Experience:
- Agile iteration management experience
- Scrum Master experience
- Experience leading standing development teams using Agile
- Experience planning iteration and releases, project forecasting, removing roadblocks, and facilitating iteration cadence.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders, users, and project teams to learn and implement best practices.
- Experience conducting peer to peer coaching, training, and mentoring to improve processes across multiple Agile teams.
- Experience leading and being accountable for project deliverables for multiple, small-scale IT projects, including project planning, execution, schedule, quality, communication, cost, and budget.
- Undergraduate studies in business, management information systems, computer science or related field. BA or equivalent is preferred. Progress toward PMP certification is preferred.
- Experience using tools such IBM Rational Team Concert and Clarity
Job Description:
We are seeking an Iteration Manager/Scrum Master to manage projects, enhancements, and defects related to our clientâs applications. You will:
- Lead standing development teams to develop software using Agile best practices
- Plan iteration and releases
- Forecast projects
- Remove roadblocks
- Facilitate iteration cadence
- Collaboratively lead standing development teams to deliver high quality working software through the adoption of innovative best practices.
- Work in partnership with project teams to deliver project objectives through structured planning and iterative delivery.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, user communities, and project teams to learn and implement best practices.
- Perform peer to peer coaching, training and mentoring to improve process competencies across multiple agile teams.
- Lead all aspects of a general information technology project or multiple, small-scale IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost. Apply project management and systems development lifecycle process to small information technology projects
- Coordinate the activities of the project team.
