The Human Resources Manager oversees the coordination and administrative support of all EHRA, SHRA, and EHRA-Non-Faculty employee and position activity for permanent and temporary faculty, staff, and students. This includes, but is not limited to, processing and initiating personnel actions for faculty, permanent staff, teaching assistants, graduate assistants, research assistants, adjunct faculty appointments, work-study students, visiting international scholars, post-doctoral students, and temporary employees. The position is responsible for the maintenance of personnel files and the development and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases related to each of these areas. Personnel actions initiated by this position may consist of position creation, recruitment, new employment, salary source/FTE changes, promotions, transfers, re-classifications, and terminations. The position also provides policy and procedure interpretation on human resources subject matter including SHRA, EHRA, and EHRA-Non-Faculty employment, recruitment and selection, and general benefits information. The person in this position supervises two full-time SHRA employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and two years of progressively responsible professional human resources management experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.
