Summary
The Guest Services Director for Auberge Haven Corp. needs to ensure that the hotels operate efficiently and profitably while maintaining their reputation and ethos. The Director is responsible for the business performance of the hotels, as well as maintaining high standards of guest services, housekeeping, and health and safety. The Guest Services Director should know our company, its software, resolve guest issues, know the hotels room inventory and get top write-ups in all of our social media platforms. Depending on the nature of the venue, your role may have creative aspects, particularly in business development.
Customer Service
First and foremost, you should excel at customer service. As Directorr you should be able to train staff to have superb customer service and make sure that customers leave the hotels, restaurant and bars happy.
Tasks and Duties
· Responsible of covering employee FD position (shifts) when necessary, including recess periods.
· Maintain an open communication with all Directors and Hosts
· All situations with employees, including Directors and Hosts must be address throughout the Senior Guest Services Director. Notify all situations to the Director of Human Resources
· Determining and setting business objectives and goals
· Handling emergencies and major issues involving guests, employees, or the facilities.
· Negotiating contract with vendors, if necessary, and approved by the administration
· Responding to call and or complaints of guests
· Overseeing guest service functions to ensure customer satisfaction
· Identifying areas to improve
· Providing training and development opportunities for employees
· Communicating values, strategies, and objectives
· Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing hotels standards.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks with other hotels; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· It is your responsibility to have a vast knowledge and the ability to recommend reserve and advice on all three (3) categories: eating, beaches and site seeing and or tours.
