Los Gatos Christian School serves 334 PS-8th grade students in the heart of Silicon Valley. As a ministry of Venture Christian Church, LGCS is one of the largest Christian elementary schools in the area and is dedicated to educating with high academic standards and developing passionate followers of Christ. The next Head of School should bring an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong business sense to help craft the future of Los Gatos Christian School.
Los Gatos Christian School is strategically prepared for a period of continued program development and enrollment growth. The school board is enthusiastic about supporting the next Head of School who will capitalize on the schoolâs many strengths and continue to explore and create opportunities for the future. The faculty of LGCS are dedicated and especially gifted at nurturing the spiritual development of the LGCS students. In fact, Christian high schools in the area consistently compliment Los Gatos Christian School on the character and spiritual depth demonstrated by the students who matriculate from LGCS to their schools. The campus, remodeled in 2011, has a capacity of at least 400+ students, including a well-equipped Idea Lab and Technology Center. With the technological resources in the area and the rapid growth of the Silicon Valley, the potential is remarkable.
LCGSâs current initiatives include implementing project-based learning curriculum and creating the classroom of the future after the successful completion of the Lions Give campaign which raised over $250,000 in just two months. Requirements: Ideally the right Head of School candidate has a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a senior administrative leadership position, preferably at a Christian school. Has obtained or will complete within five years an ACSI certification.
