Shopbop is looking for a results-driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive the growth of our international business. The Head of International Marketing will own Shopbop’s international marketing strategy. This role will require a proven creative, strategic thinker who can grow a business by successfully managing all stages of building an international marketing program from concept to execution.

The successful candidate will be a thoughtful, high-energy self-starter with strong business acumen, acute analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to use creative thinking and innovation to solve complex problems. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, and will have a track record of successfully developing comprehensive marketing strategies for the international market.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the vision and strategy for better serving the international customer; implement short and long-run marketing programs focused on customer acquisition and retention
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to break into and expand international markets, driving revenue growth targets
  • Create and manage programs that optimize the end-to-end customer experience for customers in our target countries including retention and loyalty campaigns, website features
  • Leverage existing online marketing channels like SEO, sponsored links, affiliates, and shopping engines to attract new customers abroad
  • Identify, test and implement new advertising channels
  • Lead development of marketing content that best serves the targeted countries
  • Manage projects that will require influence and support from other departments
